Busy catching up ... part 2

These are the rest.... one little pocket album and 3 small canvasses. The pocket album is for my father-in-law. He is going to Greece for 3 months, visiting family. So I thought he will miss the kids the most, and decided to make him this little booklet so he can have them in his shirt pocket, look at them any time, any day he wishes, or brag to friends and relatives when he wishes (they are pretty brag-worthy, I reckon ...hahahah ). BTW.... not all 3 kids are mine. The photos are in this order : My daughter - 4yrs, my son - 3yrs and my nephew - 1.5yrs.

As for the canvasses. they are for Aunty Anna, hubby's maternal aunty in Greece. She has never seen these grand niece and nephews of hers. I've never seen her to by the way. So she can also have the same photos ... just prettier and more elaborate than what my FIL has. My FIL will probably be jealous now... but I really don't care.

Oh.... a few of the scrapbooking girls are gathering on the 9th of July. We are going to visit this HUGE scrapbooking store up in Mornington. And Shirls is going to join us too. I'm so excited to meet her for the first time and I'm really looking forward to it. CAN'T WAIT, Shirls!!!

This Saturday, we will have a little get-together at home to celebrate the kids' birthday. I always celebrate both the kids' birthday together cos their birth dates are only 2 weeks apart. I know some die-hard goody mothers frown at me cos they think I'm not being fair to the kids... that they have to share the lime light. As far as I'm concern, I think I'm teaching them to be appreciative that their birthdays are being celebrated, together with family and friends who love them. Many unfortunate kids out there don't even know when their birthdays are... probably haven't seen decent food for as long as they have lived, let alone a birthday cake.

On that note, I'll sign off now.... (and note to self: remember to take photos of the get-together)

Busy catching up!

I have been so busy catching up with challenges .... everyday I scrap, it is challenge after challenge. So many I'm losing count! LOL.... Without further ado... these are them...

OK... I actually have a few more pics... but Blogger is not co-operating with me, won't let me upload. So I'll do them in another post.

Thanks for looking. :)

I'm Back....

Arrived from Singapore yesterday. It was soooo good seeing the kids again, how they ran towards me yelling "Mummy, mummy!!" .... all soooooo like a scene on a drama show. Then that bubble instantly burst the moment they started whinging and fighting in the car. It was like I remembered why I needed that little holiday. Bwahahaha.....

I took a photo of my shopping - scrapbooking, shoes, an MNG top, and some lingerie (believe it or not, I can find great bras in Singapore, and in my size too!). Of everything I bought, I love this pair of shoes the most......

I would never have bought those shoes in a million years if I saw them a year ago because of the colour and the intricate "artwork". But ever since I started scrapbooking, I see things so differently. I have fallen for beads, sequins, ... and this turquoise looked so nice! It was marked down by 40% from the original price of S$79, so I paid S$47.40. And they are actually unbelievably comfy to wear. I love buying shoes from Singapore. I come back with at least 1 pair everytime. Now I'm inspired by the shoes..... aren't you??

Madly shopping in Singapore

I have been bad again.... not updating my blog for one.... and for another, spending up big time in Singapore.

Okokok... I left on the 8th of June to come to Singapore, to attend a very good friend's wedding that happened on the 10th (yesterday). It was such a beautiful wedding. The venue was superb - Asian Civilisation Museum. There is a private function room which they booked out, and the caterers decorated beautifully with black / fuschia / gold theme. The solemnisation ceremony was done in a marquise set up in the outdoor foyer. Bride, Hsu-yi was gorgeous. My friend, Calvin even surprised her with a proper proposal during their speech because he admittedly did not propose "properly" during the proposal. So it made everyone teary when he knelt down and proposed to her in front of 200 guests! And naturally, she said yes.

I had a list of things to shop for in Singapore, including some Scrapbooking products. You know, I'm so damn ashamed of the distributors in Australia. You'd think that with Australia's large scrapbooking market, we would have really updated products. Neh!!!!!! They are a bloody disgrace! BUCK UP, YOU SLACK ARSES!!!!!!! Your heads are so far up your arses that you can't see! I bought Tombow refillable adhesives..... 12m worth of adhesive per refill for S$3.60 each!!!! For those who are working out the conversion rate.... it's about US$2.25 or A$3.00. I bought 30 refills to be shared between Ruey and myself. Lots of other scrapbooking shopping done.... can't list them .... too lazy.

It's also Great Singapore Sale on now. It's sale sale sale everywhere. I bought 2 pairs of kids shoes each for my kids, and they are soooooooo cute and adorable, averaging S$23 a pair and that is before 20% discount. I bought 2 pairs of shoes for myself.... one for S$40, the other for S$50. Oh btw.... can you tell I'm a shoe fanatic?

Anyways, better go get showered and start drooling over my loot today. Later!
