WHO DOES THIS ANYWAY?!?!
I was in a virtual crop last Friday and one of the challenges was a canvas. The deadline for submission is Wednesday 6pm. I sulked for a while because I felt that the challenge was given out too late and not everyone has a canvas lying at home all the time! So the organiser said we can do clipboards, frames... or anything flat.
Still stumped.
Reason: I'm not a fan of altering objects to begin with, maybe because I don't do it well. And I still don't have a single clipboard, or a frame that sucked for me to alter it. Tuesday morning, I was washing dishes at the sink - a rare occurence, haha....and I was looking at the clock sitting on my window sill, checking out the time. I realised that it had stopped .... flat battery. Then I had a lightbulb moment... seem to be happening quite a bit lately -- the clock is as flat as it comes, let's alter it!
It is a small clock ... 5.5" x 5.5". And after altering it, hubby said that we now have a nice clock to look at. I never realised that original thing looked that ghastly. It was a souvenir a friend bought for me and I've always had it on the kitchen window sill, and used it functionally like all clocks. I've always looked past its appearance. LOL....
But in hind sight.... who on earth alters a clock?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I must be on speed.

i altered a clock on a cookie tin when i applied for my dt...i must be on speed too.lol.really love the result.

If this is not good in altering stuff, I dunno what is! The altered clock is really fab!!! :)
