Posting a layout... finally...

It has been a long time since I posted a layout. I did this for the challenge I set for my other sb buddies, the one that was supposed to be easy but turned out quite difficult. Not because it was difficult to do the layout, but the topic was just.... tough! I wanted them to do a layout about themselves... something they are not, something we don't know about them. I guess, when we all have to sit down to tell others about ourselves, something we are NOT, we are all stuck for words. Anyway... this is all I could come up with....

I think a lot of them are not taking this LO very well... LOL. I had to giggle when I posted it too.... cos it's sooooo not like a conventional layout! I know they must still be struggling to digest it. bwahahaha....

Today, we went out to a shopping centre to do some shopping and lunch. At the food court, we were looking for a table. As Peter was pushing the double stroller, he had to stay on the side while I look out for people finishing and leaving. Very quickly, there was a table that became available, and it was not far from me. So I walked up quickly to occupy the table. As I took occupancy of the table, there was this other lady who walked up to the table, and plonked herself into a seat, and said "I have to take this table".

Gobsmacked, I just stared at her. Then she realised I haven't left the table, and came up with the world's lamest excuse, "I've been waiting for a very long time. I'm sick of people taking up a table I spotted."

My, oh my, oh my..... I was totally speechless. What a cow!! When I was complaining to Ruey, she asked, "did her hungry kids follow right behind her and sat down?" SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE YOUNG KIDS!!!!! 3 adults came and occupied the table. Not a word of apology.

You know, if she was the slightest bit apologetic and A LOT NICER, that she has really been waiting for a long time, and starving to death, I would have willingly given it up for her. But she said it like I had offended her, and therefore I should pay for her losing her seats. If there was a queue, you can call me a bitch for jumping queue. But it's a freakin' food court, if you wait at this section, and no one leaves soon enough, you can't blame another person for taking up a table that is located in another section. Just like at a car park, if you drive around and kept missing parking spots, you can't blame another person for finding a parking spot you missed!

But like any nice samaritan, I walked away. Surprisingly, I wasn't fuming. Just a bit upset over a badly behaved person. I told myself, literally, I will not stoop down to her level and argue with her.

And I said to Ruey, if I was a Christian, I would pray for her. To that lady who snatched my table right under my nose, "SHAME ON YOU!! And may your children, if you have any, grow up to be better human beings than you are."

I found a table about 10 steps away from that table anyway, within seconds.

You are a saint, Mich. I would prob have an arguement there and then. I HATE people like that-people who thinks they are superior to others. But then I think you are prob right, why stoop to their level.

Ruey! U are so funny! bwahahah...a good comment! I am a Christian, I will Pray for deliverance of the soul hidden in the humongous body that plonked onto the seat, praying also that the seat will break and the big fat arse will thunder the floor!
