Barbie's house and layouts
These are some of the pics of her dollhouse...
Overview. This whole thing folds up into a carry box.
Living/Bedroom - The bed is convertible to a couch and ottoman. See the lamp, TV, remove control and cordless phone. Notice the flower growing outside the window??
Bathroom - The shower and toilet make sounds. See the towel, scrub, bar of soap, shower curtain, bin.. etc.
Kitchen - Fridge can be opened and it has eggs, milk, etc in it. Love the dining table with clear 70s-inspired see through chairs and crockery LOL... And we are already missing a fork.
Couch and Table set - yet-to-open. Can you see the fish tank? And the cat on top of the fish tank trying to grab the fish? See the miniature magazine, photo frame, disposable soft drink cup...
Desk and chair - this is also yet-to-open. The details in this set... laptop, notebook, table-mounted pencil sharpener, pencil holder, tissue box, mesh chair...
Oh.. and there is a sport convertible car too... which I forgot to take a pic of. But we all know what Barbie looks like in one of them. So can you see why I'm very keen on this set? LOL
I was actually quite surprised to hear from a few ladies who responded to my previous entry, that they don't know what Playmobils are. Then I realised.... DUH! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! We are from a different generation!!!!!! ROFLMFAO... Playmobils were big in the 70s when I was a kid. Playsets, figurines and accessories... pretty much like Lego, but not so squarish. And they have always been expensive. Although I have seen them at Myer stores before, they would have been on their way out of the kids toys hall of fame. They are still very much a collector's item though... probably more in Europe than here. I got in contact with the ebay seller whose auction was closing in a few days, and she agreed to sell that to me and send over by Express Post. So that's taken care of now. :) Thank you all for your help.
I know I haven't shown layouts for a while now. So I'll leave you with the following layouts published in the current For Keeps Creative Scrapbooking #56.
These were actually 2 of the layouts that I submitted for last year's Awards for Excellence competition. This is a transparency layout and photographing it posed a bit of a problem for myself, as well as the magazine too. It's not doing it a whole lot of justice.
OK... images overload.... tee hee....
See you again in blog world soon!

gorgeous layouts! Mich...
Love the dollhouse, and the fab LOs !!
What is that dollhouse called? My daughter has it and she wants me to order a new bed. So if you could reply, that would be great. Thanks
Hi Hannah... I'm really sorry... I wish I could help but I don't know the name of the bed. This was 2 years ago and I don't have the packaging anymore. Barbie dolls and accessories are highly volatile consumer products so I'm not even sure if they still have the same product available in the market. I'm sorry I can't be of any help.
